Happy Wednesday - A whole lot of blah
01:51Hey everyone, it's Gina here!
Today's post is just going to be a rant/mis-matched conversation as such, because I feel like I have so much to talk about at the moment. First of all, how have you been? I feel like it's been a while since my last post and I wanted to apologise. It seems like life has gotten in the way for me recently. However, there's a few things that I've been enjoying lately that I thought I might as well share with you guys..
1. The first thing I've been loving these holidays is Sea Salt Spray. For those of you who are wondering what a strange choice this is, I am Australian and it's Summer here at the moment. This means beaches, tanning, hot chips; all the good things in life, really. The certain spray I've been loving was recommended to me by my hairdresser and I can honestly say that the texture is incredible. It's super lightweight and humidity resistant which is so helpful in the Australian heat. So say hello to my muk. beach muk sea salt spray. It really has been a lifesaver!
2. The next thing I've been loving is the Revlon COLORBURST Lacquer balm in the colour 105 Demure Réservée which is by far, the funniest name for a lip gloss/balm I've come across! It is a pale nude colour with a hint of pink and shimmer in it. Super natural and perfect for a summer lip colour when you're at the beach with as minimal makeup as possible.
It looks a lot more pigmented in the stick then it is on the lips so here is a swatch
3. And the third and final thing I have been loving this summer is quotes. I recently joined Pinterest (@hartofwriting) for inspiration as to what to write stories about and I've come across a number of quotes which I find intriguing or interesting. I'm thinking of starting a regular post, maybe on a Friday? showing my favourite quote for that particular week. One I'm particularly liking at the moment is from unknown
It just sort of sticks in the back of your mind doesn't it?
I think that just about wraps up this mis-matched post for today, thanks for reading and leave me a comment below letting me know what you've been loving this summer...or winter...
Until next time,
Gina xx
